Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR)
Responsible conduct of research (RCR)
Reporting research concerns:
Allegations of research misconduct or any concerns related to human research, animal research, conflict of interest, research misconduct, research safety, or other research compliance matters are reported through the NU Office of Research Compliance and Integrity (researchcompliance@nu.edu.kz). The research integrity office is responsible for investigating all cases of research misconduct and ensuring that investigation reports are submitted to the university management in a timely manner. The process for handling allegations of research misconduct at Nazarbayev University is described in NU Faculty Policies and Procedures and respective NU school handbooks.

Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) Training:
We encourage every member of the NU scientific community to take a Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI Program) course in the Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR). Individuals planning to take the training will be asked to identify the area most appropriate to their work and select an RCR module according to their discipline:

● Biomedical Sciences
● Social and Behavioral Sciences
● Physical Sciences
● Humanities
● Engineering
● Administration
